dampening solution control.
The range encompasses the latest fount solution technology and
caters for all printing requirements. All solutions are manufactured
using the latest materials, are buffered to the optimum pH level and
take account of differing water hardnesses. All founts contain
anti-foaming agents and environmentally safe biocides.

Eurofount SFD1
An advanced fount solution concentrate for
alcohol, conventional and integrated sheetfed
dampening systems. SFD1 is available for all
waters including soft, hard, standard and RO
(reverse osmosis treated water). An advanced
buffer system overcomes any water variations
whilst an in-built water softener eliminates the
adverse effects of water contamination. SFD1's
biocide system prevents any bacterial growth and
the powerful synthetic desensitising system
provides trouble free running in all conditions.

EUROFOUNT X
A sheetfed fountain solution concentrate suitable
for use with both conventional and alcohol
dampening systems. Eurofount X should be
used with standard water

for all sheetfed presses and printing types
including small webs. Primafount AF10 offers
quick start-ups, improved ink/water balance
and latitude as well as replacing up to 10% IPA.
Especially formulated to remove Calcium in
hard water areas and in applications such as

SOLAFOUNT T RANGE
A fully formulated product with high levels of
lubrication and plate protection to ensure fast
re-starts on edition changes etc. and thereby
reduce paper wastage. Specially formulated to
meet manufacturers' specifications on corrosion
inhibition and especially suited to turbo and spray
dampening, the Solafount 'T' range usually
requires a water analysis to match the product to
the local water conditions.

SOLAFOUNT T1
Fountain solution additive for Coldset Web Offset.
T1 fountain solution was designed for use with all
types of coldset dampening systems but is
especially suited for turbo dampening units. Its
powerful buffer system will maintain a stable pH in
all water conditions whilst high levels of lubrication
and plate protection ensure fast re-starts on
edition changes etc. to reduce paper wastage. T1
fountain solution contains corrosion inhibitors for
both ferrous and non ferrous metals to M.A.N.
specification. FOGRA approved

Eurofount DR1
A high tech drier fount formulated to run with water between 2 and
32 German degrees of hardness. It is designed to be run with 8% and
12% isopropanol to give very thin dampening films without risk of
scumming or emulsification. This results in clean, bright prints
with reduced ink consumption and fast run-up times. DR1 contains the
optimum quantity of cobalt driers for a 2% dilution rate.

PRIMAFOUNT AF2
Primafount AF2 can be used to reduce or replace
alcohol on presses from small sheetfed to high
speed webs. Specifically designed for use with all
types of damping systems, AF2 has a powerful
buffer system that will maintain a stable pH in all
water conditions whilst high levels of lubrication
and plate protection ensure fast re-starts on press
stops thereby reducing paper wastage. Suitable
for use on unbaked positive plates.

PRIMAFOUNT 2016B
Universal fountain solution concentrate for use on
sheetfed, continuous stationery and web offset
presses. In alcohol dampening systems usually an
addition of 6-8% Isopropyl Alcohol will be required.
Especially recommended where calcium deposit
on rubber blankets and ink rollers causes a
problem.

Bio Additive
Use in fountain solution recirculating systems to increase
protection against bacteria build-up. Use an additive on-line to
extend time between planned maintenance stoppages.
Water Hardening Additive
An additive to ensure that the correct level of water hardness is
maintained. Use in conjunction with reverse osmosis systems or where
water is in the range of 0 to 10 degrees dH.

Biobags
Biobags are water soluble plastic sachets of solid,
broad spectrum biocide. Due to the contents being
fully enclosed within plastic there is no risk of accidental
contact with the user's skin. Each sachet
gives a powerful boost to any fountain solution recirculation
system to prevent bacterial growth and
thereby extend the time between routine maintenance
stops. Simply add the sachet to the filter
holder of the return pipe and watch it dissolve to
release the biocide to boost the system.
System Cleaner
A very popular fast evaporating blanket wash and rejuvenator with
strong ink solvency.
