A very popular general purpose blanket and roller wash. Slow to medium
evaporating with good ink solvency. Ideal for medium to large sheetfeed
presses.

WHY WATER MISCIBLE
& NON-WATER MISCIBLE?
The solvent structure of these two washes is the same, however, in
the case of Water Miscible washes, there is the addition of an emulsifier
which allows for the smooth mixing of water and spirit solvents to
create a wash that not only removes all traces of ink but also removes
paper lint and water based materials in one easy operation.
When using non-water miscible washes, the removal of paper lints and
other water based materials is effectively made by washing over the
blanket with clean water. The choice of operation is usually by personal
preference.
SMALL OFFSET
Prima Wash Plus
A zero aromatic, fast drying wash with good solvent power. The wash
provides good cutting power and is faster than most conventional washes.
Ideal for use on small offset presses.
(For a small offset water miscible wash we recommend Prima
Wash 35WM)
NON VOC
Primalogic Wash NWM
(Non Water Miscible)
A general purpose non VOC blanket and roller wash. Slow drying with
medium ink solvency makes this product ideal for use on medium to
large offset presses.

Prima Wash EU3
A high quality, non aromatic, fast evaporating, zero rubber swell,
high ink solvency wash. Also suitable for use in automatic systems.
Prima wash EU3 is an AIII category solvent product with a flash point
over 60°C. Also available in a water miscible form.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) include any
organic solvent that evaporates, e.g. hydrocarbon solvents used in
everyday blanket and roller washes.
The Primalogic washes are effective blanket and roller washes and
by using these instead of a conventional wash, a contribution to the
protection of the environment can be made. |
UV WASHES - WASHES FOR UV INKS
EPDM:
Washes for UV inks on EPDM rollers and blankets.
Prima Wash UV EPDM
(slow, medium, fast)
A special blend of solvents which is ideal for the removing of UV
cured inks and varnishes used in conjunction with EPDM type uv blankets
and rollers. There are 3 grades available:- slow drying, medium drying
and fast drying.
