REFLECTA-ECO INKS The high-gloss sheet-fed offset process ink based on renewable raw materials that contain no mineral oil Exceptionally high gloss sheet-fed litho inks suitable for high quality printing of reports & accounts, advertising leaflets, magazines etc, particularly on coated papers. The new generation of HIT process inks (HIT = Highly improved Technology) from Hostmann-Steinberg are manufactured in optimised production processes. The special constituents of the process inks are matched precisely to the individual stages in the manufacturing process. The wetting medium and the finely controlled dispersion conditions have been chosen so as to ensure that the ink pigments are coated completely and in a stable manner with binder; the binder components selected specifically for these pigments actively support this wetting process. Thanks to this fresh optimisation of the 'Highly Improved Technology' process the printing characteristics of the HIT process inks have been greatly improved. The improvements in quality are to be found in areas such as the development of colour intensity, gloss, rub-resistance, flow behaviour, damping solution tolerance, stability at high printing speeds, and further processing. Fields of Application: - Reflecta-Eco inks are particularly suited to printing jobs on coated stock and substrates of very high absorbency and low-gloss finish
- Reflecta-Eco inks are remarkable for their particularly high colour strength and brilliancy as well as their excellent printing contrast, minimum dot growth, and high damping solution tolerance
- Their good rub-resistance and good absorption characteristics render them suitable for universal use
- Stackability on jobs with heavy ink coverage is decisively improved
- Reflecta-Eco inks have been specially developed for use on 8 & 10-colour perfecting presses
- The pleasantly smooth, free-flowing consistency is particularly printer-friendly
|
Performance Characteristics: - Manufactured using the new Hostmann-Steinberg 'HIT SYSTEM'
- Reflecta-Eco inks provide an exceptional gloss combined with the environmental benefits of being mineral oil free
- Reflecta-Eco inks possess the ability to remain at consistent viscosity throughout different temperature ranges on press and at very fast press speeds
- Reflecta-Eco inks will, as a reult, outperform most other makes of gloss process inks on the market today
- Good setting, stack performance and rapid drying as well as a quickly achieved and stable ink/water balance minimises waste
- Reflecta-Eco inks are suitable for IR drying and remain fresh in the duct
- The highest gloss is reached on coated stocks yet the good hold-out means that excellent results are achieved on highly absorbent and less glossy substrates also
Substrates: - Reflecta-Eco inks have been formulated for use on a wide range of coated and uncoated papers and boards but the levels of gloss and setting speed will be influenced by the substrate
